we're trying to recreate some pickled onions husband loves the ingredients say juniper berries, pepper and concentrate fruit and veg anyone know what it means by the concentrated fruit and veg nothing other than the juniper and pepper in jar. Also calls for red wine vinager and the juice is red.

Well that sounds like a really odd recipe and I cannot think what they mean - where did you get the recipe?? I pickle onions most years and do it the way my old man did - brine them, rinse, pack into jars, boil vinegar with spices allow to cool and pour into the jar.
Maybe they mean add some dried fruit and veg but I am clutching at straws...

If my reading of the Google translated list of ingredients is correct, it is my supposition that the expression is to describe an introduced "artificial" flavouring derived from certain plant extracts. Your do not have a recipe, merely the list of ingredients in non specific but diminishing quantities. It appears to be a commercial product, and therefore difficult to re-create using 'real' ,fresh items.
I suspect better value, and probably better pickles, could be sourced at Lidl!
your probably right but he does really enjoy these
