Well I finally remembered to take my camera today so here are some photos of my two allotments and also some from my garden.
First and second pic, in my garden the tulips are starting to bud up nicely.

My first sowing of lettuce (all year round), well overdue for planting out, must get them done tomorrow.

and second sowing, not far behind

Red cauliflower and red cabbage about ready for hardening off and planting out

Aubegines and chilli growing away nicely in the conservatory and nearly ready for potting up.

More tomatos growing in the conservatory, these are ready to go into Wallo'waters on the plot.

Overall view of my 1st plot. Most of which has fruit on it, all starting to sprout but difficult to see in this picture, it's the smaller plot.

I'm pleased with my rhubarb, planted in autumn I think it doing really well.

After something was eating my spring cabbage it seems to have stopped and now they are getting nice and leafy.

And finally, (are you all still awake!) The second plot and the larger one. The heap in the front covered with black plastic is my pile of horse manure. Broadbeans, peas, welsh onions, garlic, onion sets, shallots, carrots and potatoes in and the weeds are growing really really well with all the rain we've had over the last two days. Children very excited because the frog spawn are now tadpoles.

Everything looks great ;D Especially the tulips and the toms :)
B****y marvellous, Jesse!!
Had to look up your age to see how you could do it!
Oh, well - we'll soldier on as best we can.
Thanks Tim, a lovely compliment coming from a wise gardener like you :)
Moggle, can't wait till the tulips open, can't remember what colour they are!
Jesse - All very beautiful and if I may say, looking too good to eat !
Enjoy and well done !
:D
:-[ Envy envy envy :-[Â ;D Jesse it looks really good, sob :'( my plottie is still looking very barren. ::) ;D
Jeez Jess, that's a lot of lottie you have there. Do you work them mostly alone?
Those seedlings look picture perfect.
Wonderful to look at those pictures, thanks for posting.
you've been a busy bee ;D
Ina, mostly done by myself, OH helps but only with the "structural" type of things, with a full time job he doesn't find much time to be there. I've been told numerous times by fellow allotment holders that I'm crazy taking on so much, hope they're not right, time will tell.
Cor your seedlings look FAB! Put mine to shame. Must get organised. And lovely looking plots. Weeds...what weeds!!
Wow - those aren't seedlings, they're plants.
When did you sow them? How are they so big already?
Really nice photos. My seedlings are teeny tiny!
Aqui, the lettuce really should have been planted out a while ago but was delayed because I hadn't got the weeds dug out of their bed yet. They should be okay to go in this weekend with any luck. Here is an updated version of my planting diary if you're interested in dates etc. http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/jessco/jesseveve/Planting.xls
Remember I have a heated conservatory which enables me to get a head start on some things, if I didn't have it there wouldn't be enough space to keep plants going indoors for as long as I do.
