They are making a fuss about tree roots ...again, apparently its the hawthorn now one of our natives, saying the roots cause damage if planted too close to the house. It was such a long winded article I read full of doom and gloom but they didn't say exactly how far away they should be. Does anyone know?...not just the Hawthorn but other trees.
