Title: Feeding garlic
Post by: plotstoeat on April 17, 2016, 18:12:21
I have looked at an old thread on this topic which appears to favour adding nitro-chalk. Never heard of it. Would anyone disagree with adding seaweed fertilizer to over wintered garlic in containers? It worked well on my onions last year

i think any liquid feed would be ok most plants overwintered need a spring pick me up those in pot more so and if seaweed has worked for you in the past then yeah go for it i make my own spring pick me up out of mashed nettles and pigeon poo put into a onion bag and then steeped in a waterbutt the brewed tea is watered down half a pint to a watering can full the plants love it hope this helps the tulips and the rhubarb had some 2 weeks ago this was taken last week
