Some of your Potato Onions are really chunky. Have you been selecting for size. Looks super

After harvesting I always save the best I have grown for saving.
I do this with every type of flower or veg I save.
My philosophy is that saving the best gives me a better chance of growing the best which is essential if you want to exhibit flowers and veg.
Most of the top growers / exhibitors I know do some form of selection.
I do not exhibit anymore but old habits die hard hence me still saving the best.
So the answer to your question is yes they are selected bulbs.
