Title: curly kale
Post by: ACE on November 01, 2015, 21:18:01
Uncovered the cabbage patch netting yesterday to do some weeding and pull out a load of plants that had bolted and gone to seed. Nestling away in the bottom was a load of curly kale plants I had forgotten about. Picked a load and had them for dinner today. Nothing to ask about them just to tell you it was lovely. I had forgotten how nice those leaves are. They should see me through the lean months for greens.

It is always nice to find an unexpected bonus.
I grow Russian kale, that tends to self seed and I end up with bonus plants.
