Title: Pink tomatoes
Post by: lottie lou on August 10, 2015, 20:47:54
Grew approx 14 varieties of tommies this year and one or two plants have produced pinkish coloured fruits.  Unfortunately muddled up my labels.  One says early tanana and the other says tibet appel.  Has anyone ever grown either of these and what colour are the fruits.  Alternatively does anyone any idea what variety they could be?

Tatiana's TomatoBase says that Tanana is red and Tibet Appel is pink. :)

Thanks Silverleaf thought it was tibet appel.  Now I wonder where my tanana is and also my monkey ass which looks like a possible red boar.  Oh why am I so careless with my labels?   Having said that looking for stuff in my freezer is an adventure too.

This is one reason why I carefully picked tomatoes that I can tell apart! ;)
