I would like to grow some late crops in my tunnel.I know lettuce and courgettes should do ok but has anybody tried beetroot ,cabbage and French beans. I would need to grow them in grow bags or troughs.
I would have a go at spring brassicas if nothing else they should mature much earlier than they would normally when planted out doors.
QUESTION ?.....why do you have to use pots. / bags?
This is how I did it when I used the site tunnel

Hi tee gee,I would need to grow in bags etc this year as the soil is hard and poor .over winter I will try to improve.
I find if the courgettes get settled in they are too big for the poly... but all the leaves are good, rocket, mizuna, coriander. Winter Lettuce like bronze arrow, Winter radish make a good change and with beetroot and with some Kohl Rabi make a good root mash or diced served as a side dish. Most of the chinese cabbage and broccoli like a tunnel...
I came across this site and would like to share it with you all.
