Title: Black berries
Post by: laurieuk on July 17, 2015, 16:04:40
It certainly seems to be a good year for black berries, I am picking almost each day and have a really good crop. This is the first variety I have 2 others to follow on. Just hoping a can keep the badger away he has had most of my strawberries. It seems almost that if you net a crop he goes for it but where some have left strawberries uncovered he leaves them alone.  :BangHead

They look lovely Laurie.  Well at least mine have started flowering.  Fruit can only be a matter of a couple of months or so

They look great.  Any idea of what variety?

I look like getting a bumber crop too, but they have only just finish flowering so I have a little wait.

I am reasonably sure it is Reuben I bought 3 different varieties and this is the first to ripen but they all look very good.
