Fab. Real rain. We have had not a single drop of rain for weeks. With the stiff wind things were getting very dry. Lottie sheltered from east wind it has been really warm.

We had a little bit of drizzle this morning, then a glorious day. Could do with a bit here too.

A pleasant warm rain here from about 16:30. yay :D
On and off hot sun and chucking it down here. It really was a case of "if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes"!

Hmpf...didn't turn out to be that much.. :BangHead:
Yesterday I rushed to upgrade my guttering 'system' on my greenhouses..to harvest every single drop that lands on the roof..and there was barely a trickle coming out of the 'otherwise well working' guttering.. :BangHead:
I had loads of bowls and buckets spread around garden.....ended up with a pint of rainwater.. :BangHead:..oh well, at least I got enough to keep my orchids going for now...
And to day it is supposed be :sunny:

Not much here in London - it's wet but not really penetrating the soil much and it the forecast is that it will stop soon..
drizzle here - not enough to correct the 8" deep cracks in my beds.
Still dry beneath the surface but better than nothing. Filled up my water butts.
It was supposed to be raining all day today but that has disappeared from the forecast. I think it is in France instead.
The fathen will start getting very excited.
Heavy rain here in Yorkshire last night but hot sun again today so doubt it's made the soil any easier to dig!
Not much rain here, drizzle on Friday but nothing much since, it was meant to be really wet yesterday but the sun decided to shine instead.
Could be worse, friend has posted a photo of his plot under several inches of snow in Aberdeenshire.
today tue woke up to sunny skies but the rain sunday did help
Well two days of rain forecast for here, now gone and next to no rain. Well I guess I'll be spending a lot of my day traipsing up and down the steps to the river.
Half my plot was under green manure - I tried to dig it in on Friday but the ground was like concrete.

Yes, getting hard and a bit cracked here too, but right now nature is doing its best to correct that, just what we needed and when we needed rain. Could do without the blustery winds and cold, but the damp stuff is very welcome. :icon_cheers:
