Title: Germination
Post by: Mrs Ava on March 22, 2005, 11:18:29
Forgot to post yesterday.  I have my first germination at the allotment.  Rocket!  Planted a week ago under cloches, through in a lovley straight row.  Will keep  the cloches on for the time being, then replace with net curtain to try and reduce flea beetle damage.  Now I am waiting for peas, radish, lettuce, spring onion, carrots, parsnips and spuds!

My turnips and swedes say April and May.  Was holding back, but if you chaps have them through, then I may sow a half row...or 2!
