after spending all week digging weeding tilling raking getting my plot in tip top condition for spring it got late so i didn't cover my beds with fleece now its one big cat litter tray itsthe most frustrating annoying thing ever cleaning up after someones pet :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: now my plot looks like its covered on snow not a piece of earth on show
I feel your pain
thanks duke a problem shared and all that :blob7:
i'd like to share some advice, but when I do it's swiftly followed by a visit from the Police and the Humane Society
I find cats particularly like carrot beds. I think the smell of the seeds excite them. I use piece of hawthorn scattered about, or put twigs of it along the rows of seeds, it help to know where to hoe as well.
I sympathise. Wonder if that's why it's called a CATapult :tongue3:
Dont risk a cat-u-pelt,"think richochet-greenhouse windows!!"
What you need is a Supa-Soaker!
Simply fill from the rankest waterbutt you have and apply accurately to the offending critters thrice daily
To enhance your sucess rate lay an old sack in a sunny position within range of a surprise approach.

Note: no cats were harmed in making this post.
I cover spare land with holly and rose prunings. Be carefull to remove later as can cause personal injury but cats don't like it either... :happy7:
Prunings for me too. I find cats want a clear comfortable space and they are reluctant to do their thing if they're getting poked by sticks!
Dead raspberry canes are great for this, and they'll become pea supports later on.

Split and broken bamboo canes are tough, robust, resilient and can be split down and sharpened to suit the purpose- kitty kebab skewers!
ive covered all my prepared beds with scaffold debris netting its been too cold and windy here to sow :glasses9:
