Note to self. I do not need any more seeds!!!! :BangHead:
I was looking at some of their more interesting potatoes and onion sets.
But when I've ordered in the past, they've ended up sending substitutions - one year I ordered Garnet onions and they sent Red Baron, which you can buy in the £1 shops grrrr.
Still, I've got them and Bikini potatoes in my basket and am wondering whether to risk it.
I got various things on the last heads up. No substitutes but I find the generic packs without a picture rather a disappointment. I need to know what a carrot ought to look like.
They have quite a few things for £1.
Disappointed they no longer have cavilli courgette.

Garnet onions sounded good so I ordered some to try, now I'm wondering if I will get them!
Bikini potatoes look awesome, did you go for them in the end?

Several of the seed varieties I received in the 10 for £10 offer were just generic packs, I don't always read it but good to have growing information if you want it and to refer to the actual varieties finer points. Bit of a waste of time to have to keep looking the info up.
I've just ordered the garnet onions and bikini potatoes.
The year they actually sent the garnet onions, I got a really nice crop so am willing to spend a bit more to do a bit better than the standard Red Baron.
And the bikini potatoes because of their promised dormancy (storage potential).
Here's hoping they send them !!

Good to know Garnet did well for you, I'm looking forward to trying them - I hope.
Everything about gardening is a triumph of hope over experience, why should ordering through the internet be any different.
And now need to purchase £50 worth of enviromesh as my crop was destroyed last year by the dreaded leaf pest.
