Oh no...the bright side is that you are OK and you still have your compost!

Thanks for your comments folks it's appreciated.

The insurance have informed me that the pittance they gave me for my troubles will be in my bank within the next few working days.

Had a right set too with the AA and the insurance company about the amount they gave me and got nowhere.

To my mind they all p**s in the same pot and we drivers have to take it or leave it!

Going to have a look at a replacement car on either Thursday or Friday.

The young lad that mot's and repairs my cars for me has put me on to one that has come into his garage.

It needs a timing chain that's why the previous owner got rid but apparently when this work is completed the car will be as good as new considering it is ten years old!

I only use my car for bobbing to and from the allotment and minimal mileage.

I usually do around a 1000-1200 miles a year so all I really need is something with four wheels an engine and a gearbox! So from how he described it, it should be suited to my needs!

I seem to have come out of the bump unscathed although I must have taken a bit of whiplash as my neck and shoulders ached for around twenty four hours!

Still haven't got my compost yet but a friend of mine is going to collect it for me and fetch it to my house.

So I sowed my Tomatoes and Peppers this morning in anticipation of its arrival.

Still haven't got out of hibernation mode yet, perhaps when I see the Tomatoes and Peppers germinating I might get going again and get some serious gardening done!
