Anyone for crumble....
Looking good :happy7:
What garlic varieties are you growing?
Ooh Rhubarb, roll on crumble days.
The first 3 rows are Elephant, the next 2 are Vallelado Wight....and Carcassone Wight, then I have 30 x 3" pots of Early Purple in the greenhouse.
Elephants are so slow to show above ground....congratulations! My normal garlics were up in November, but I don't expect the elephants until March.....but I have not visited them since December so maybe they are there. Elephants, once up, give such an encouraging look to an allotment with their strong thick green leaves. I wish the weather would warm up....
When do you plant them? If theyre winter or spring planted id agree, but I plant mine in early autumn and they stand happily through the winter.
