Any one grown Geraumon Martinique, Iran or Hidemi before?
I've bought seeds for my burgeoning collection but have found it difficult to find reviews of the flavour - other than Iran squash, which seems to be very love or hate.

Iran pretty but no flavourwhatsoever - well it may be better if grown where it gets a very sunny summer. Sorry, don't know the others.
Sorry I've not grown any of these varieties, but I remember looking at Hidemi and thinking what a gorgeous looking and sounding squash. Hope it does well for you, it looks like it could tick all the boxes.

b*gger. I don't want just ornamentals. Might give one a go - my Mum likes blander squash than I do.
Hidemi looks almost exactly like Black Futsu when mature, so I'll be interested to see what the difference in taste is. I've just tracked down a copy of Amy Goldman's 'The Compleat Squash' and am looking forward to discovering other varieties. :)
IT's a great book, but there are an awful lot of squash in it :-)
