ive just bought some fruit trees from asda 3 apples and a pear got them in at £5 per tree
reading the instructions it says not to plant when wet or frost
at the minute its raining and later in the week its going to be cold there bare root in plastic bags
what do it do should i plant them considering the above or should i wait how long will they be ok for

I think you are taking the instructions too literally!
Get them in as soon as you get a spell of dry weather that allows you to keep dry as you do it, the trees won't mind some rain!
The soil should be relatively warm at the moment so once planted cold weather won't affect them.
I am assuming your soil is not water logged which is much different from being wet after some rain, after all when you do plant them they want watering in to ensure the the fines in the soil get washed between the dry bare roots.

It's a bit early for bare root trees if you ask me (you didn't, so I'm just mouthing off) but yes, get them in! If you aren't sure where to put them just heel them in, they can be put in a final location in spring (like my redcurrant bush.... still there years later!).

thanks guys i decided to put them in upon opening them i found they were not bare root they had some compost and were plastic wrapped and put in a bag so i now have them all in
3 apples and 2 pears :)
