Title: Vinegar as weed killer
Post by: mark_h on March 19, 2005, 20:48:43
Hi all,
Whilst trawling the net I came across a few articles about using vinegar as a weed killer!?!    I'm surprised as sceptical at this... any comments?

Well vinegar is very acidic so it probably would work but then it's likely to damage any other plant it might touch.  And there's the question of whether it would kill the roots.  Might give it a try tomorrow just to see.

Hi Mark_H
I treated a small weed to a vinegar drink on Sunday but as yet it doesn't look any less healthy.  Will keep you posted.
