I listened to Raymond Blanc once talking on telly about our not eating all our veggie plants.  He referred to broad bean tops and radish pods and said they were a gourmet delicacy.  In France apparently they eat the broad bean tops when they remove them to get to them before the blackfly

I have also heard about the radish tops from The Allotment DVD that a radish can be left to go to seed and it will produce edible seed pods which are said to be good in salads and stir fries (variety Munchen Bier)

I grew Munchen Bier one year, I thought they were disgusting.

I suppose you'll eat anything if you're hungry enough . . .

We've eaten broad bean tops before.  stirfry til their soggy and serve with loads of oliveoil and lemon juice - very Greek.
We grew ratstail raddish last year and it was wierd,  any one else doen those?

ooooooooooooo never had broadbean tops....will be doing so this year!
