Actually ...not sure if this should be in the "edible" section ... I thought it would be nice in my herb garden . The flower is beautiful and the bees are loving it ..but I have heard it can be a thug and hard to get rid of .....so would it be o.k in a tub ? Debbie :coffee2:
I ended up having mine in a big pot in a quiet corner of our plot that didn't get the easterlies blowing the spores across the plot as once it spread and was well rooted it could be a tad tiresome, that said, after seaweed tea ,comfrey leaf tea is also one of our favs to feed the tommies and cucs it do pong a bit and won't have you making new friends on the plot but the stink is worth it .
A good bunch of leaves in a hessian sack in a spare water butt will set you up for some
Odour toilette of the comfrey kind.

Thanks Gazza , So I will have to pick the flowers before they go to seed then ...o.k. ...great...next off to find a big tub for mine ..thankyou .Debs
Try finding the variety 'Blocking 14' as this is a sterile variety so does not produce seed, therefore a lot easier to control.
