My plum tree was full of blossom 2 weeks ago now it looks like its dying,same as one of my allotment neighbours plum trees,apple and pear are uninfected,anyone else got this prob

If it's any consolation, ours looks as bad as that fttt, but not with the brown patches, mind. Fruit still came through even when the leaves looked a bit of a mess.
Ants "farm" aphids on plum trees, we used to see the ants scuttling up and down the trunk in the summer. Until one year I started to put "winter wash" on the trees during the times of year when there are no leaves. That really helped against everything, and what's more it's totally "organic" (it works by stickiness rather than by chemistry).
