Title: summer bulb advice please
Post by: small on May 11, 2014, 08:45:57
I'm growing some summer stuff in pots for my parents garden - dahlias, liatris, begonias (a T&M special offer with Tesco vouchers, never again, nowhere near 100% growth) and I'm not sure about hardening them off. The ones that grew are coming on lovely in the cold greenhouse, but I need the space: will they be OK outside if I shove them back in quick if frost is forecast? Do I need to harden them off as I would seed-grown plants, in and out for a week first? Any advice appreciated please.

I would say..yes...you can put those outside and if there is frost in forecast, night under cover should be enough protection.
