Post by: willsy on March 14, 2014, 09:55:20
I dont know what is wrong with me this year, usually Im all excited and ready to go... this year I've no energy or motivation to do owt ( as we say here) Maybe if the sun carries on shining it may make a difference. My poor allotment is looking sad and mummy doesn't want to play hahaha Anyone else feel blue???    Sorry just realised posted in wrong section. oops

Yep me. I haven't really made a start yet, ground is still way too wet to think of doing anything and the jobs I could be getting on with I'm not doing! Still not feeling very well so all in all a bit gloomy like the weather here today - foggy.

I think it's partly all the wet and stormy weather we've had, just gets to you after a while! More sunshine please  :sunny:

Must admit I've been going through some seed packets which is always fun and I'm really looking forward to growing the seeds from the seed circle. I've also got some tomatoes, peas and beans I'm very much wanting to grow this year, so fingers crossed I'll get into gear soon  :toothy10:

Same here.  Never recovered from my fall at work nearly 3 years ago.  Dispite 2 ops to put things right.  The weather and clay soil not helping.  My get and go as got up and gone.  We've had fog and mist here all week, it gives me the ebe gebes!!  Perhaps if the sun was to shine I might feel a bit more like doing something.  And to top it we've just lost most of the discounts for the allotments.  So this year its £72 an increase of £39 from last year.
Then I look at the TV and see all those that have had their homes and lives ruined by the floods and realise my lifes not so bad.
