As I've said before I'm very happy with my camera :-)

and Ina - these were started before I got my allotment so I put 3 (supposedly different) plants in a bag of peat (I couldn't find grow-bags here in NL) and grew them in the open in my back garden in a sunny spot. I was supposed to have cherry, normal and (vlees) beefsteak? varieties but I couldn't tell much difference between them and they all tasted marvelous.

Hi BB. Yes, vleestomaten are beef tomatoes. I remember a while back asking people what they meant with bags of peat and if I understood right it is what we call potaarde (potting soil). Here you can also get real turf (peat) in bags but that's not potting soil, it's used for mulching. I grew tomatoes on my balcony this year because on the lottie I always got blight but.......... now there are the blight resistant tomatoes that we tried in the lottie and NO BLIGHT there for the first time!

BB, can you tell me how you got your picture on here? You could do it in a personal message as I don't want to bore people here with my continuous questions about placing pictures. Mine keep disappearing. -Ina

DP and Ina - we're trying again under photographs to sort it - I know that mine disappeared too, but I don't think that that means you're a bad person? They are back now?  - Tim
