Title: Piglet Willie's French Black -tomatoes
Post by: goodlife on March 07, 2014, 09:34:10
I know there is few of you out there who have grown this tomato...but do you know how/why such a name?
Do you know any 'back round story' for the variety or its origins?

This tomato was first shared a few years back on another forum by a member named Piglet Willie, if memory serves me right it was a tomato he tasted whilst on holiday in France. He thought it was very good and so saved seeds, grew the tomato and again saved and shared the seeds. I've no idea if it is a unique variety or perhaps unknowingly an already named variety that has been renamed. Either way it is a tasty tom.
