Title: Winter Cabbage
Post by: steve1967 on January 12, 2014, 08:15:29
Hi all,

Can anyone suggest a good winter cabbage variety that will stand well and not all mature at exactly the same time. Planted January King but they have become tough with a lot of stalk. Looking for a cabbage that will last into feb or later as now I am relying on my kale.

Celtic sit through to Feb and are quite large.  Tundra are a savoy type and will sit right through to March but can be harvested from late Nov.  I still have about 12 or so left in the ground and are in excellent condition with no signs of wilting.
