Title: Gardening apps?
Post by: caroline7758 on January 11, 2014, 18:13:41
I've recently moved into the 21st century and got myself a smartphone (Android). Can anyone recommend any good garden-related apps? Preferably free ones!

If you do find one it will most probably be something that has information pinched from a book or somebodies idea on how he thinks things should be done. A lot of these apps are developed over the pond and have no relevance on proper English gardening. I mean what do they know.  The information will be along the lines of weeds = put down poison, small rodents = put down poison, bigger varmints = shoot them. Annoying Plot holders = shoot them.

Oh good.  If you find one to do the winter digging perhaps you could give us a run down on it.

I would particularly like to know what "finish" it gives and whether further raking is required.

Many thanks

Bill

There are loads of gardening apps but from what I can see they are either book like or linked to sales of plants or equipment. I did have a look for a diary garden app but the only one that seemed interesting is in Chinese or Japanese in the preview.
