Title: GROWING IN TRENCHES

Has any one tried out growing stuff in trenches as per the current kitchen garden mag ?  It looks like a time saver (for a weekend only lottmenteer) and I wondered what should go in the dips and what on the heaped bits.  I would be glad of any advice as I'm new to this

I have never tried this, but I guess you would grow your roots in the high bits and then in the trenches you could grow your lettuce, or brassicas.......maybe.......  :-\

Thanks for the warning Tim, must remember to stay clear of any open trenches on the Allotment. I can just imagine the conversation, How do you get your veg to grow so big ? Easy underplant with a bag of "silver Brigade"
