Bought an Andrew James halogen cooker just under a couple of years ago which has given me very good service since. However it stopped working so changed the heating element but that did not cure the problem. Contacted Andrew James as it was still under warranty. Returned the lid and within two weeks had a replacement - no bother, no quibble. GREAT service and would recommend them.
Nice to hear of good service :happy7:
I have an Andrew James Halogen cooker and find it very useful, especially when cooking chops or bacon as it is so easy to clean. It must be a lot cheaper than using the electric grill too.
Bought mine after recommendations on this site. Wouldn't be without it now - large enough to do a roast dinner for 2 and must save on heating that big oven of mine. Haven't tried making cakes but have made pasties which came out fine (bought puff pastry I am afraid).
I've just been looking at them again on amazon, the one with the hinged lid, very tempted :happy7:
Just cooked lamb chops on the grill bit and roast potatoes underneath, we also do our own pizzas, couldn't do without it, now :happy7:
Check out the reviews on the one with a hinged lid Jayb, rather restrictive if you site the cooker under a wall cupboard I believe. I use the extension ring, rather than the lid stand, to pop my hot lid on when checking stuff in the cooker.
Do you make your pizzas from scratch, Manics?
Aghhhh read this too late, already ordered!!! Should be ok though I think :drunken_smilie:

Another interested reader here too :happy7:
Well, another gadget, the bread maker, makes the bases but, everything else, yes :toothy10:
Thanks Manics, hopefully I'll have a go before too long :happy7:
