hi guys,
I've been offered an allotment and I went to see it yesterday and there's a shed on it! Do you think the shed would come with the plot or would the previous occupier reclaim it?
cheers
I'd just ask the site rep, or whoever showed you the plot. Sometimes sheds are promised by the leaving tenant to other plotholders. Someone is bound to know.Good luck with your new plot :icon_cheers:
I'd seek clarity from your committee..
Our site policy is that if the owner leaves a shed or greenhouse the new tenant gets charged £40-£50 per item dependent on condition. A ramshackled old rickitty one would be free!! Sometimes the two tenants will come to an agreement also for a small fee. We'd rather not see sheds to and fro-ing everywhere.
Fingers crossed then! It was a bit of an odd way of showing me the plot I though. Basically the council posted me the key and said let yourself in and have a look at it. Not much clue on anything else.
It's a small site, only a dozen or so plots. Surprised how quickly one came free was only on the waiting list for a few months!
Thanks
