Hi all,
Another month has gone and yet another season has virtually ended
Or has it?
Personally; I look upon this time of the year as the start of a new season, rather than the end of the last!
I see it as the time to prepare for the next season, e.g. preparing the beds, moving plants and ordering seeds (my seed order arrived a couple of days ago) and my compost and fertiliser order has been placed and will arrive in January!
Went to our Allotments Xmas dinner last night and made all my Xmas & New Year wishes to all those that were there as it is possibly the last time I will see many of them again this year as I don't expect to be on the plots much for the next two or three months.
My visits will be quite short as all I will go for is to do a bit of harvesting
When do you lot consider the beginning and the end of a season is?
Meanwhile; I thought you might like see some of what I have been up to for the past month.

I started my allotment on 5th March so each year I tend to think of that as the start. But I think it is a good idea to think of now as the beginning of next year rather than then end of this one.
I have planned in my head what is going where. Unlike you I have very little bare soil.
Interesting blog thanks for sharing.
