Title: The things children say...
Post by: Squash64 on November 24, 2013, 16:22:56
I've been staying with my son and family for the past week but I came home
today.  After I'd left, my 7 year old granddaughter told her daddy
"I will miss Grandma she is like a very old mummy".  She also said that her
baby sister Ivy, two months old, is "not even a human being yet, she's still
an alien".

Just noticed you've still got a note about the A4a meet on your profile, Betty- if you're not careful, we'll be back again next year!!

How lovely!.  Children say such lovely things!

Another A4A meet at Walsall Allotments?  Yes please Betty.  I was pencilling in holiday dates a couple of days ago and left July free.....just in case.

I was also looking up Caravan Sites so we could combine a visit to the Birmingham area with a week away in the caravan.  Last time, when we came up to the meet, we took the opportunity to visit an elderly friend who lives in Sutton Coldfield.  We hadn't seen her for many years and she looked very frail.  John and I decided there and then that we would definitely visit her again next year and were hoping very much that there would be another get together at your allotments.

We enjoyed the last meet so much.

That's a very not too subtle hint if I ever saw one :-)  I do agree though, the last meeting was really, really enjoyable - fine day, good food and absolutely brilliant company.  Would you be bringing your lovely egg butties again Pauline?
