Title: drowning in modules .......
Post by: Nora42 on October 28, 2013, 19:39:10
Not me of course mid October I planted out garlic in modules and overwintering onions they are all putting on lovely root growth.
last week I put some broad beans into modules too.
Of course just lately I have had to take the modules out of their drip trays as they are all swimming I have tried to put the trays out of the rain - to dry a bit and I have taken them all out of their drip trays so they don't get swamped again.
no chance of getting them in the ground till early November will they all go rotten?

Perhaps a better day today will dry them out.

Can you cover them with plastic so they do not get any wetter?   Though I think I would ensure there is plenty of air flow around them.

Put them indoors for a week or so to dry out ... I plant mine into their beds in December so dont worry.. just get them dry.
ps. I never put the modules in sealed trays!!
