Title: EGYPTIAN TREE ONION

Has anybody grown or heard of these before.Any info would be great

Yes, there are several varieties. The commonest seems to be Catawissa, which grows waist high. Use them as green onions. They're pretty strong, and you can use the green bulbls as well as the leaves. Or use the dry bulbils if you can be bothered peeling them.
