Not really using stuff I've grown on the veg patch, but I'm so pleased with what I've made this morning that I couldn't resist showing them, as they were quite hard to make!
A friend here had brought some back from Pézenas, near Béziers in the south of France, where they are a speciality. I've wanted to make them for months, so today was the day. They have a filling of minced lamb, spices, brown sugar, raisins and an egg. If you google their name there are recipes and I think a video by Michel Roux, but I didn't watch that before making them!

They look very good. I still have a packet of them in the freezer from our visit. They'll come out for winter nibbles. Yum.
