Title: Lewis Leeks
Post by: BarriedaleNick on September 14, 2013, 09:51:09
Hi all
I have grown some leeks this year and they have done pretty well.  They seem to so well against leek moth and are big, bluey looking plants but I have no idea where they came from - I was just finishing up some old seed packets.
I have labelled them up as "Lewis" but I don't have the packet any more and can't seem to use my google-fu to locate them.
Anyone any idea what they might be or where I can get Lewis Leeks
Cheers!

Intriguing, not a variety I've come across, hope you get to the bottom of it. They sound particularly good if they are able to resist leek moth. Is it possible the seed was given to you by someone called Lewis, rather than that being the variety name?
