As I will be away for a couple of weeks and given the possibility of inclement weather (or is it too late for blight to strike) should I lift my tomatoes and hang in shed in the hope that they will ripen. Thank you in advance for advice.
I cut the leaves that in the way between sun and tomatos, and leave them bathing in sun as much as they can.
I don't think shed can provide more sunshine.
Im in the same boat but I have decided to leave mine on the vine. I have been so lucky this year and have had loads already so if they do go over it wont be too bad. Plus Ill get someone to keep an eye on them for me - hopefully Ill be lucky and have plenty more when I get back from hols!
