10 years ago layed a patio at an old georgian place. The owners wanted an area lifted that was covered in old and loose terracotta tiles. Instead of skipping them I took them home and after shifting them out of the way more times than I can remember I have eventually layed them at the back door of my house today.
Lovely old tiles an inch thick and all hand made so slightly irregular in colour and shape. They could have ended up as landfill but I bet theres a few hundred years life left in them,. Looks beautiful and some brownie points earned when the yeti in pink knickers gets home from work tonight. Should be at least steak for tea.
Don't skip it. You will find a use one day.
I agree totally - my garage (& house) are full of "useful things I will want one day".
Exactly and if you do skip lr bin it you can guarantee that you will find you need it the week after!
Ower Tones got a shed full of useful things :laughing4:
Would love to see a picture, please. Only if you are clever enough to post one. (joke).
