Title: slug nemotodes for spuds?
Post by: RenishawPhil on August 02, 2013, 13:58:20
Is anyone bothering with these this year? I've used them before but not this year.  It looks like august will be quite a wet month.

So just wondering wheather it's worth it.  We have quite a lot of mains in

I put some on mine at the start of July and so far no slug damage... did water occasionally in the dry spell and the ground is quite retentive of moisture as I've put a lot of manure in over the last few years.... when it goes right then one dose does for the summer as it catches enough first time round that it leaves the ground loaded with spores.....

Thanks,

I think i may have left it a bit late to use them, hopefully the fact we have loads will mean any damage isnt so obvious
