Booked train tickets on line, as had to get myself and friend's husband to Lancaster Hospital the next day. I got a return and a single for him. Then got confused of Enfield (well I am 70 now), and as the return was only a £1 cheaper than the single got a return, and as he is over 80 and upset about his wife in hospital, we had to get seats together. Then he didn't want the single as he may come back in an ambulance with his wife. To cut a long story short, I had to pay for 2 returns and 1 single. The train was delayed due to computer failure for an hour and we missed our connection so the booked seats didn't apply. I now have to wait 5 days to get a return on the single ticket which I have sent back recorded delivery, cost £1.70 and a £10 cancellation fee. The lovely man in our local station said he could have got us first class for the same price, so I am fed up from Enfield. Have just got a print-out of my bank statement and I paid £10 to put my lovely photos of my cat (don't yawn) on the computer Allotments 4 all on Paypal, don't use Ebay but OH is addicted to it, so many useless things he buys. According to my bank statement I have paid twice, 2 £10 taken out, and have signed up forever, and I may not live that long. I may be old and miserable, but I really, really like talking to people not a b.oody computer who doesn't let me say s.it alley and changes it. Also so many passwords I have to remember. But Allotments4 all is great, now I have got that off my chest. :BangHead: :BangHead:
Ah Borlotti, sorry to hear that! Everyone b*ggers up orders online occasionally!
If you use Mozilla Firefox as your browser, you can ask it to save your online passwords, but they can be protected by one master password when you go onto the Internet. I enter my master word when I first go onto a site that needs a user name and password and my login details are then automatically put into the login boxes (such as on A4A for example).
Maybe that would help you? I think it is reasonably secure.
^^^ That.
If you use different browsers and different computers, you might also look at LastPass, which does the same thing, only more so. https://lastpass.com/ (https://lastpass.com/)
