Lidl have a petrol strimmer next Monday, seems they go very fast so I aim to get there early.
Question is are they good value? Has anyone any experience of them please?
They also have their nice pop up bags. I find them very useful. Screwfix have bigger ones but I find the handles on the lidl ones better.
It looks like an exact copy of our Einhell strimmer but in a different colour. I wonder if Lidl has a contract with them and they're being made under licence using a different name?
If it's anything like the Einhell you wont be disappointed. To quote Brick Top "They go through bone like butter" if you use the brushcutter blade.
It is a very substantial piece of kit. Getting it together was not easy. Attaching the handle bars took us eight attempts before we got it right. A bit like blue peter they seem to have left out some vital steps in the instructions. Still have not managed to work out how to replace the cord by the bone cutter. They obviously did not try out the instructions on a non technical female first.
It is also quite heavy, but I am quite big so that is not a problem for me as the weight is well supported on the shoulders. However, the harness was certainly not designed for the lady gardener. I am not sure where my boobs are supposed to go.
