Hope you can help me. Jayb organised a wonderful seed exchange a couple of years ago. We had to solve a clue and got the list of what was available. Great fun.
Amongst others I chose seeds for 'Pink Lettuce' and have grown it this year. Really pretty dense heads of delicious large, soft leaves with a pink margin at the top. Definitely going to save seed from this one.
Unfortunately my record keeping wasn't up to scratch. Firstly, I can't remember who to thank for the seed. Secondly, I vaguely remember that the donor wrote, it was his or her own variety. It is a super addition to my lettuce variety collection and it would be nice to give credit to the right person.
I hope the donor is still on A4A and reads this (thank you so much) or somebody else still has the swap list with the info and can help me out.
TIA
Galina
bump.

I've been trying to think of who they may have come from, but so far I've drawn a blank.

Thank you Jayb, pity you don't have the list anymore. Hopefully we will be able to find out. Thanks for trying.
Was it the virtual swap or the pass around one?
It must have been a circle as I remember it but I've just been on the list and it's not there.
I've searched on my pute for Pink Lettuce, but no results. Can you remember which year?

Must admit it sounds familiar, but I don't think it's something I've grown.
I wonder could it have been from 1066? or perhaps Markfield rover?

I believe it was 2011, because I wanted to grow it last year, but couldn't because of lack of space. No it wasn't a seed sharing circle. they are all documented on the blog, but just to make sure I'll go and have a look.
No definitely not from the seed circles.
At a pinch the lettuce could have been in Jeannine's amazing parcel? But I don't think so.
