I'd say the first is blackcurrant and the other looks like apple. Let them fruit and wait and see . :happy7:
If you crush a leaf it will smell of blackcurrant.
The fruit is wrong for apples. It's to soft. We had apple trees when I lived in France.
I've seen blackcurrant bushes and I don't think it is, I will go during the week and crush a leaf.
Thank you
Look like blackcurrants with reversion virus. If they get big bud the leaves start to change shape and end up long and thin instead of wide and fat. Fruit ends up small and tasteless.
Other one looks like an apple, my golden delicious looks just like that. The fruit start off red and then turn green.
Shows how little I know then lol
I will get someone at the allotment to look at the blackcurrant bush to be sure it's desised, when they agree ill dig it out and leave it allows for fruit bushes. Will the apple trees be okay with it, it can't get affected by this desise can it please?
Sorry for lots of sill questions but I'd rather get it right :)

Apple will not get same problems as a blackcurrant.
Have a lot and see if you have any large buds. The big bud mite carries the reversion virus. YOu can now get resistant varieties. Ebony has been recommended.
I lost all my blackcurrants some years ago.
