Got two silly trees which do not drop naturally, so if I do not thin I end up with masses of tiny apples. It takes quite a time, there does not seem to be a quick way to do it, if I hurry I seem to pick off all the apples.
Can anyone suggest some recipes for using them up.
One year I made some great jelly with sage but cannot remember how much sage I used. I do remember using too much in one jar and it tasted like some kind of throat pastille.
Has anyone tried crab apple and rhubarb?
