Title: Can I fit in some beans
Post by: captainhastings on June 21, 2013, 18:28:42
I have two rows of peas  kelvedon wonder spaced (30") between rows which looks quite a  big spacing I have it covered in netting so I was wondering could I fit in a row of dwarf French beans up the middle ? The peas are about 3 inches high at moment. It just seems a lot of pen going to waste.
I have just cut some hazel twigs to support the peas which I will sorting over the weekend

You  could plant lettuce or mixed salad leaves or even radish any things that's quick growing or easily transplanted /I plant lettuce and those are transplanted in the potato bed as we dig the potatoes
