Title: Lovely day
Post by: star on June 20, 2013, 17:27:21
I was walking the dogs in a local woodland and walking across the path only 50 metres in front of us ambled a Roe deer and her large fawn. What a lovely sight.....mum looked straight at us and just walked on slowly.

It was a surprise as this was 11.30 am, it was a beautiful day with the sun peeking through the canopy :sunny:. Boy that really lifted my spirits, and I finished my walk with a silly grin on my face :happy7:

That was one of my lovely days  :angel3:

Lovely to see the wildlife.

You may not be quite so happy when the deer start nibbling your crops or just sitting on them.  They have a particular appetite for strawberry leaves and PSB.

We cycled through Tatton Park today & there were deer near the road & you could see the velvety antlers. I did nearly fall off though, I was so taken by the beauty of them.
