and what to do with them if they are? guess you need a greenhouse for them ? :(
Looks melon/courgette/pumpkin like :dontknow:
I have melon seeds popping up. I wasn't sure but good life said melon seedlings resemble cucumber seedlings.
Some sort of Curcubit? What has been grown there in the last few years? Has any home made compost been used in the area? This could contain melon, cucumber, marrow, squash seeds.
The seed looks small, smooth and narrow so I'd say melon though could be cuc.
Melons, cucumbers and squashes are quite resistant to the effects of composting. They even pop up from the recycled stuff which they process to quite a high temperature.
Tomatoes, cleavers (Goosegrass) and fat hens also seem to come through composting.
I use bales of straw to keep melons warm. They used to sell opaque table covers in £1 shop which were good for growing melons under. But they do not seem to have them any more. Shame they were rather useful.
Could be above, but how about sunflowers. busy_lizzie
