Post by: Palustris on November 16, 2003, 18:21:58
These were taken before the wind blew all the leaves into next weekend.

- another couple with a VIEW!! As if it were needed with a garden like that.

Oh, well - I suppose we had the adjoining paddock for 40 years, till they built 3 houses on it this year. But that's not the same as countryside.

Tell me you're 20 miles from the nearest shop and 1/2  mile from the motorway and make me feel better? - Tim

Sorry Tim 2 miles to nearest shop and 20 miles at least to nearest motorway. 2 miles to railway, but 5 to station. 1.1 mile to nearest street lamp and post box and bus stop. 5 miles plus to nearest supermarket. BUT we can hear really heavy lorries  on the A5. AND we get at least 3 helicopters at 50 feet or less every day plus the occasional low flying balloon. Oh and the Red Baron practices over us rather frequently.
Cheer you up if I said we used to live with an Urban motorway 100 yards down the the road and a dedicated bus road 100 yards above us?

Is your house so high to take such an almost aerial shot? It looks like a dream. Thanks for posting it.

Just for Tim, this is the view from the side window and front window, Poor pics as it was raining and I did not open the window either, but you get the scene.
