Title: Potatoes growing too vigorously
Post by: Plot No.69 on June 15, 2013, 12:10:29
Hi. Need some advice. Have been away a week and my spuds have had a major growth spurt. Around half a meter or more above the mound of soil and loads of leafy growth. already earthed them up around 4weeks ago and they've grown too tall to earth up further without moving barrow loads of soil from elsewhere to do the job properly.  They have nice thick stems and a few about to flower. Should I worry or just leave them to it?  Thanks all!
