Tidying up today I found a bin of comfrey tea I must have made last Summer and forgot about. It's probably well stewed - I assume it's good for nothing now, would you agree?
Cheers!
I use it but I know more knowledgable peeps on here advise against, if nothing else chuck it on your spuds!
I've used some 'vintage' stuff before and haven't noticed it doing any harm nor lacking anything..plants were fine :icon_thumleft:
I would use it definately. But what I want to know is, how can you 'forget' comfrey tea when it makes you so aware of its presence?!!
Thanks, I'll give it a go. It was in a plastic dustbin with the lid on - completely forgot I'd prepared it and left it next to the compost heap last Summer some time. I will dilute it more than normal just in case.
hi all,
I too found a barrel of comfrey juice when i cleaned my shed out was wondering if it was ok to use, now i know its ok i will use it but what dose is best to mix it???
Sorry ti hi-jack the thread
Thanks steve
I guess it depends on how concentrated the tea is but I've always used between 5 to 1 and 10 to 1 depending on the concentrate. Probably read it on here somewhere but that's worked fine for me.
You can always use unused comfrey tea as a compost activator
